when there's catnip around my cats cant relax- the bed alone would be good for cats but not with the catnip in it

My mom had a paisley design in her nightgown. The cat was afraid of it. We think the cat thought big bugs or other animals were crawling on mom. We have observer cats through the years and found they are afraid of specific shapes.
