Lazy Pet Plush Kitty Nest

A lot of the shelter cats love having snuggle beds/cat nests in their cages or in the colony rooms because they can remove themselves from public view to recharge a little. Shy cats who are feeling overwhelmed really need a way to hide on a regular basis, and these beds work well.

We also use them for some of the smaller dogs at the shelter who might need a nest to feel safer.

The biggest downside is that the beds are harder to clean that just blankets or towels. If the animals benefit though, it's worth the extra work.

Pros: Many cats love being able to snuggle into bed and "hide", reasonably priced

Cons: Whole bed has to go into wash which deteriorates the fabric over time
