These window perches are a great idea, but in practice a kitty lounger with a 'hammock' that is about the same height as the window works just as well, if not better. At least that's what my kitties tell me!

We originally bought the bed for our cat. Then we got our Chow boy who actually was able to get into it.

Since the original purchase, Stubs and Gus have past on. But, I have two new kids that now use the bed in the livingroom window, Sassy and Belle.

I ended up reinforcing it with a piece of wood to help support their weight.

They love to watch for me on my return from work or the store.

Pros: It works well for cats and dogs

Cons: It sags badly from regular use

Why don't they make these for people?

This was my cats all time favorite thing in the world! He loved to feel the warm sun shine in on him and would snuggle into the fleece lining. After much use the center did start to sag a bit but he did not mind at all!

they should make the legs adjustable because this just isnt high enough to hit the window which is a bit upsetting because i know my cat would love one of these.. i <3 the different color idea... it means you can blend everything in
