I used to feed these to my cockatiels especially before breeding and not only did they love them but it gave them the additional nutrition they needed for laying and for feeding young.

Both males and females feed and the extra protein and calcium is needed especially by the females.

Great product and I never had the birds turn them down even though there are many other things my bird "burn their beaks up" at.
