We've had so many birds hit the windows in the front room where the sun shines so brightly from late winter to fall, so we have been searching for something that would look good on the windows and work to stop the birds from getting harmed and killed. This year we already had a Junco hit the window and die. Last year we had Stickees decals on the windows, choosing a floral design; but, after some time the decals curled all up and were coming off, so we had to remove them last fall. But Stickees just didn't have designs we liked at this time. Hence the search for a product that was actually made to help the birds. These Window Alert decals are very attractive and are only very lightly visible to the human eye, but show up boldly to birds. They are easily applied to the outside of the window after cleaning the glass with warm water. Decals need replacing every 12-18 months.
