I usually don't have a lot of luck with most acrylic toys although there are a few that hold the birds interest. I have 8 and although the Greys have no interest in this toy at all, our newly adopted 25 year old Amazon, Noah loves this toy. He like batting it and moving the piece up and down.

Don't really know why, but sometimes it is the color, texture, movement or with Noah, he seems to like particular noises so maybe that is it.

If it keeps them interested who am I to question it?

The nice thing is that this is a safe toy, nothing can come apart, and it can be washed for when he eats and then gets food from his beak on it.

And washable is also good for rotating toys so when he gets tired of it I can try it again with the Greys to see if they decide to like it next time.
