It took a while before my four parakeets paid any attention to this tunnel. I almost gave up. I'm glad I didn't. This tunnel gets A LOT OF TRAFFIC all day long. They chase each other through it and over it! Or one will start from one side of the cage and zip over it to get to a treat. (They have a 4' x 30" cage.) Lots of fun!

I thought it sounded like a great thing for my cockatoo to tear up but as it turned out she did not like it at all. All birds have such different personalities. I still recommend this because of the price and some other bird may love it. It is a great idea. Birds love to tear things up and it is good for their emotional well being. If my cockatoo does NOT have the right things to destroy then she will pick out her own feathers! This particular product just did not "float her boat".

This is a good toy to buy if you are looking for something your bird can hide out in AND destroy :)
They love to make nests out of these.

i found that keets use this less than the fuzzy version of the same product. they just don't like the material as much. as a result, it is used far less. attachment wire is very durable, though.

Pros: lasts long

Cons: not as cuddly as some other similar function products
