This is a great toy, our birds play with it for hours

There are a couple types of these block type "perches" with protrusions sticking out. I like this one better as the "sticks" are flexible and the birds can not chew through them. They chew on them but do not destroy them. The protrustions are flat and a nice texture.

The other brand has protrusions that are round and thin and have a different material that the birds literally chew off after a short time.

These are also great as with any of the "blocks" as I put them high up on the door of the cage and the birds use them as a platform for standing. So they have not only perches to curl their feet around but also a platform for standing and stretching their toes out.

They come in many different sizes that fit the small birds as well as my large Congo Grey.

This is my brand of choice with the long flat protrusions.

Pros: Great for alternative foot perch and as toy
