Coco Treat Bird Cup

A new idea for treat cups. Get away from the standard plastic treat cup. This is a half coconut shell hollowed out with brightly color plastic chains. This cup will hold your favorite treat or food for your bird.

Good start.

posted 6 years ago

My african grey parrot was unimpressed, but I used this with an amazon that I am fostering. I wanted an easy place to put some treats away from his regular food dish.

He had not learned about foraging toys yet and this was a nice place to start. However, he broke a link rather quickly.

So depending on your bird and how you plan to use it, this might be better for smaller birds.

Pros: Neat extra to have around - before a bird learns to forage!

Cons: A link broke on mine.
