My Congo Grey has a place in his cage that is all his. If he is in it I do not ask him to step up or bother him at all. He sleeps there and naps there and goes there when he does not want to be disturbed. It is a wooden box with top, wides and back and a perch for a bottom.

I rotate toys that I hang directly in front of the "hidey hole" box. This is one. Although it is for very large birds, Opus loves it. I hang it on a bar that runs sideways in front of the hidey box. He gets into his hidey box and then pulls it in front of the box so he is "hidden". He may sleep or he may chew on the toy while he is in the hidey hole.

He feels totally protected and secluded. It is the perfect :"curtain" that he can ac tivate himself and use as a toy at the same time.

Dwight is all over this toy. I really thinks he likes the bright colors and hangs in all directions to chew it. Once it has been chewed to the center, the toy does NOT fall apart-there are still other blocks of wood attached. It takes a long time to chew allof those pieces of wood. Once they are gone, Dwight still has the rope to chew and hang on. This product lasts a long time and provides hours of enjoyment.
