Okay for some birds

posted 6 years ago

We use a trigger spray bottle for birds occasionally, but usually we take the birds in the shower with us at least once a week.

When using the spray bottle for birds we spray up into the air over the top and let the spray fall down on top of the birds rather than spraying at the bird.

Smaller birds can take baths in a cage bird bath if filled shallowly with water. Some birds would rather take a sink bath than be in spray.

It all depends on the bird and the time you take to get them used to it.

Pros: A way to give larger birds a bath

Cons: Some hate it.

Quick bath

posted 6 years ago

Some birds like it and some don't. We had a bird that didn't like it but after using it for awhile - now the bird likes it. Takes a little time to get used to, I guess.

Pros: great for misting birds

Cons: some birds are afraid of it
