Royal Wing Wild Bird Mix

This is actually one of my favorite bird food mixes. I like it because it is ALL fruit and nuts, which are desired by most birds and attracts a variety of them.

The food (especially the nuts) may smell a little "stale" to a person, but the birds apparently don't care, nor do the squirrels. This food is quickly taken whenever it is placed out, and it will be gone before whatever other bird food mixes that are available to them are.

The "Fruit & Nut Mix" is reasonably priced, but it can get expensive to offer this since the birds and squirrels will consume whatever amount I put out.

I have noticed that some of the bags contain MANY empty Gray-Striped Sunflower seeds. When the sunflower seeds don't grow well, this is apparently what happens. I'd say this is "unavoidable" at times and not "deliberate", but it does detract from the overall quality of the food.

Pros: All Food/No Waste; Something For Everyone

Cons: It "disappears" quickly!

This is yet, another goodie from the Tractor Supply store! We have birds hitting on our food all day long. They sing and chirp so I know they love the flavor! Hey, I like fruit too, so I can see why our backyard beauties keep coming back!

Pros: It's filled with all kinds of goodies!

Cons: Cost competitive
