Our parrot has an acrylic perch like this one and it works well for him

This has been a good perch for our bird. We all like it. A wood perch would be all torn up, we'd rather he chew on chews and toys rather than a perch. He has a number of different surfaces to perch on, good for his muscles.
Pros: well made, suits a parrot well
