Penn Plax; Trimmer(tm) Plus Cement Ladder Cement & Wood

I got this when I had a bird, maybe not this exact one but the ladder. it kind of kept his claws trimmed but I still had to clip them occasionally. I like it for birds and I think that it was helpful with keeping my birds claws rounded and not sharp because he was constantly climbing up and down the ladder.

Pros: It was strong

Cons: Sometimes the birds don't like the feeling on their feet

I use these ladders in my sun conures cages. Sonny and Cher go up and down it all the time. Its made from cement and crushed shells so it adds calcium to their diet, keeps their nails trimmed, and offers them daily excercise. Its hard to clean the bird poop off so I replace them quite often but they are reasonably priced

Pros: great excercise

Cons: hard to clean
