I like this new product. Especially since it is all natural and cleaning and disinfecting of old woden/smooth rodded perches was not really feasible

Works for Parakeets, Too

I like to have different thicknesses of perches for my parakeets. It helps to build strong feet. (If they were in a real tree, they'd have different-sized branches to sit upon.) All four really like this smooth perch. I've also picked up broken branches in the yard and stuck those right through the cage and those work really well, too.
Pros: Adds variety, easy to install, sturdy
