Great to encourage additional calcium intake

African Greys tend to need more calcium than many other birds, so this perch is important to help Greys get more calcium along with feeding them higher calcium veges like broccoli.
I have not noticed it really helps keep nails trimmed at all. It is not abrasive on their feet like sand.
I recommend these perches especially for
African Grey owners.
Pros: Assists intake of calcium
Cons: Throw away when it gets dirty
