This is a great balanced food. We've come a long way since the all seed diet.

When we raised babies, we gave them the hand-feeding formula and then gradually started to mix in the weaning pelets with a blender. We would put a bit more weaning stuff in each day until they could eat the wet pellets on their own. Eventually they started on the dry pellets and were fully weaned. I can't attest to the taste of the things, but the birds didn't register any formal complaints with us either.

this is a good product but i prefer to feed mostly seed which is their natural food souce. this is good for gving them a little extra but takes the enjoyment of there nature to crack seeds away. it is wonderful for sick birds wo are to week to crack seed

This is great stuff. My senegal parrot who is just over a year old now has always loved this. She gets so excited when she sees the bag!

Pros: my baby parrot loves this. she is always happy when I fill her food cup with this.

Cons: it's a bit spendy
