I feed this to various types of medium sized birds at the Rescue where I volunteer. It looks intimidating to me; smells very spicy and hot but the birds love it. The colors are vibrant and the whole thing has a neat texture with dried large pieces of chilis tossed throughout. They really enjoy it. Unless you have a bird not privy to hot/spicy foods I would definitely recommend this. All the birds from Senegal's to Meyer's to African Grey's have really thought it was great.

My Lovebirds very much enjoy hot and spicy foods--they always beg when I am eating chile peppers or jalapeno peppers and don't stop begging until I give them some.

This food has the spicy flavoring that my birds love, and they eat it without throwing any of it to the floor...nothing short of a miracle with Beau and Peep.

I recommend this food highly for anyone who has birds that like it hot.

i have never been sure why but birds seem to like hot spicy things. i get mine dried hot peppers and they love them. a friend sent me some of this product to try and what a sucess. they absolutly loved it
