So I bought these to line my rabbit's cage after he got litter box trained, just to pick up the odd mistake. I should have just picked up some old newspaper! The reason these are supposed to be better than newspaper is because of their water repellent coating. Well that's basically a crock because it doesn't work at all. Truffles' water bottle drips very rarely, and the water will go right through the "water repellent" paper and stick it to the bottom of the metal cage making a mess. They have no absorption, odor reduction, or water-proofing so they aren't any better than newspaper or regular paper.

Pros: Would be convenient if it worked, the box is a handy dispenser

Cons: Not absorbent at all, the "water repellent" claim not true at all

I used it for my guinea pig for easy clean up for my busy lifestyle and he chewed the liner so i stopped using it. i didnt want him to eat it and i dont know if it would hurt him or not to eat it.

Pros: Its easy to clean up the cage

Cons: the animals like to chew it
