Full Spectrum Lighting for feather pickers

We had tried everything we and our avian vet could think of to cure our grey's feather picking. The only thing we hadn't tried was full spectrum lighting. Eventually we bought a bulb that you can put in a regular light fixture and set it up for our bird. The change was astounding. Our bird's mood immediately brightened (and it was good to start with) and the picking stopped. We keep his light on for him whenever he's up and have had no more problems for several years now. We only wish we tried this sooner.
Pros: This product solved our African Grey's feather picking problem.
