VitaFlight is a product I have recently purchased. I usually use a liquid form of vitamins..but realized this would last longer on my shelf. it's just as convenient and I like that you use the lid to measure with. My bird is old! I think vitamins are essential for a healthy life.

Pros: powder form last longer

Cons: stains some plastic food dishes

My wife's parakeet is almost 18 years old now, and she has always given it extra vitamins. She must be doing something right, because this is the oldest parakeet I have ever heard of!

Products like this are like any other vitamin, they cost money. But in this bird's case, it has been worth it.
