As the owner of three parakeets where I have used this solution on all three birds, I can attest that this product does work. I got this after noticing one of our birds was acting different, its droppings were watery and it stayed in one spot sleeping more than eating or playing. On a whim, we got this solution and I didn't really expect much but after 5 days our parakeet bounce right back. At first I did follow directions and substituted the solution for the drinking water but I noticed that the solution evaporates very quickly. I then switched and used an eye dropper and hand fed the solution a few drops at a time, several times a day for 5 days. The only draw back is the feathers around the birds beak do get stained the pink color of the solution but it does fade. I'm very happy with this product and highly recommend it to anyone with birds.

Many of my birds have survived thanks to this antibiotic. Why I can't find it in a store is beyond me. This is a miracle tonic that at only 2.99 can save all types of birds. It's almost impossible to find a vet that sees birds. I relied on this and now it's discontinued?!

Birds are already neglected when it comes to supplies, now they take this away, downright criminal I say.

I have seen this work and I have seen it completely not useful at all. I would still use it if I thought it would be helpful.
