Your bird's nails stay well manicured just by perching on this interesting perch. Natural and safe rough texture is great for beak rubbing too.

Good

posted 5 years ago

This perch is a good addition to wooden ones. It does allow birds to sit on some different material. My birds like to scratch their beaks on it, but like the the sand perches, it does nothing for their nails.

Pros: varied, different

Cons: can be too rough

Pedi-Perfect!

posted 5 years ago

My bird likes the rough surface- great for keeping toenails short. I like the easy wingnut installation and the varied diameter. If you suspend your cage from above you will want to buy a couple to balance out their weight!

Pros: easy install, rough surface, varied contour

Cons: heavy
