This cuttle bone is great. I love that my bird can get the extra minerals he needs from this product. He loved it. Unfortunately it didn't stay on the side of the cage very well. Once in the bottom of the cage it became dirty and I had to throw it out.

This cuttle bone is the same as all the other cuttlebone on the market. The only difference in cuttle bone is size basically.

It is easy to install with the attached metal prong installer if you have the right bar spacing. If not you have to rig up a different installation system.

Cuttlebone is great for calcium intake.

I read another person's response that indicated it helps keep their birds beak trimmed. The actual cuttle bone that they grind and eat is relatively soft and does not serve nor meant to serve as a method of keeping the beak trimmed down. It is a natural and great source of calcium.

It is most important for laying hens and for African Greys that need additional calcium.

My budgie, Ariel LOVES her cuttlebone. It used to be my cockatiel's before he passed, but he hated it so he never ever used it. My budgie never made an attempt to keep her beak in shape until I put this in her cage. She now uses it so no one has to go in there and file her little beak down! It didn't work with my cockatiel [he never had beak problems] but it worked WONDERS with my budgie and it makes me happy and she loves sitting on it! :)

All birds should have access to a cuttlebone, and this is the one I give to JoJo.
