Popoutz Birdfeeders

Editor's Review
Popoutz bird feeders offer a fun, unique spin on the usual feeder at an affordable price.
June 29, 2010 1:14 pm | By Zootoo Editor Mary T.
Eye-catching and easy-to-use, Popoutz products are a welcome addition to the crowded marketplace of bird feeders. And their low price makes these colorful, well-designed feeders especially appealing and affordable.
Of course, there is a flipside to these feeders' affordability. The Popoutz feeders are not the most durable products available, but at rock-bottom prices, that's not surprising. However, the feeders are made of 100% recyclable materials, so even after the feeders can no longer be used, you won't be creating needless waste.
Because the Popoutz specialty products are still catching on to households, the product may be hard to find in your area. But the Popoutz website allows for online ordering if you can't find a retailer near you that carries the feeders.
Pros: Colorful and appealing, birds flock to these innovative feeders. Also, the low price and 100% recyclable materials make this a "feel-good" purchase.
Cons: The construction of these feeders has sacrificed durability for affordability. But at such a rock-bottom cost, who minds?

An Interesting Little Peanut/Sunflower Birdfeeder
posted 3 years ago
I'm always on the look-out for birdfeeders that can hold peanuts, and this plastic contraption does just that--and only costs about $1.00.
The "Popoutz" come in a variety of colors (or "clear") to brighten any backyard. However, these feeders need to be kept from squirrels, who can easily destroy them and take ALL the contents (and maybe the feeder along with the food)! If the bottom falls out, so does all the food!
Though this "cheap" plastic feeder has its limitations, it is well worth the $1.00--even if you only get one use out of it. (But it is supposed to be "reusable".)
The "idea" and practicality of the product--in conjunction with ts minimal price--merits a rare "5" rating from me!!
Pros: CHEAP (~$1.00); Convenient; Good For Holding Peanuts And/Or Sunflower Seeds, Suet Chunks
Cons: Lacks durability; May not be suitable for all birds to use
