I like these because they are much cleaner than the open dish style that come with the cage. The birds seem happier with the cleaner fresher water. Easier to clean and durable. Reasonable price as well.

No need for glass

i see no reason for this to be made of glass. plastic works just fine. since it doesn't mount as securely as i would want, the glass presents another problem (breaking if the thing falls or is pushed off the cage).
Pros: good for small cages
Cons: hard to mount securely
