Feather Tether Harness And Leash

Feather Tethers are a wonderful idea. Even in a flighted bird, you can keep your bird with you and safe, no matter what spooks or upsets them; just keep the leash looped around your wrist as you would with a small dog.

On the downside, and the reason I gave it a 4 instead of a 5, is that every bird I have ever known HATES having the harness put on, even the ones who get excited when you get it because they know it means they're going outside. Most will fight loudly when you go to put it on, and continue to pick at it and chew on it the whole time it is on. Luckily, however, it is very tough, and stand up well to even the most determined beak.

Pros: Keep your bird safe outside, whether they are clipped or not

Cons: Birds seem to HATE having them put on
