These are quality wren houses and I have three hanging in various parts of my property. Wren males prepare various nests sites and let the female choose which one she wants so having more than one in locations not close to one another ups the odds.

Cedar ensures long life and it is made so that you can do a yearly cleaning. No perch on it means sparrows and nuisance birds can not get into it and the right hole size and ensures it attracts the correct birds.

I hung mine last year and this winter I caught a bird going into it, but wasn't wearing my glasses so do not know what it was. Clearly they were wintering in it, not nesting yet. Looking forward to what this spring brings.

Great product. The overhand top also helps to shade and keep rain out, but I put mine up under overhangs anyway to shade and keep from driving rains.

Ive got one of these up in the back yard and the first year nothing nested in it.. and last year I had sparrows.. We will see what this year brings.

The first year we set this cedar chikadee bird house out, we soon had a mama blue bird take up residency and lay a few eggs.
The next year she came back to the same box. So far, the chickadees have not had a chance to use the box.

These Cedar Wren/Cickadee Houses are great because the price is fair and they are easy to keep clean. We hung several of these houses at my Mom's so that she could watch her little Wrens nest.

My father loves to watch the birds so we have many bird houses in the yard. These Wren houses are done by the barn and in the garden area. They were easy to put up and are very sturdy.
