We have 9 or 10 of these. We get Bluebirds in every box except 2. After cleaning wasp nests out we get Bluebirds in every box. I thought the birds would take care of the wasp nests, ..reckon I thought wrong.

We've made these birdhouses since I was a kid. They last quite a while and attract the smaller birds, but every few years the squirrels will enlarge the holes and then move in!

Cons: Squirrels may try to get in

I put my nest up last year, but I still don't have any Bluebirds in it. I need to recheck the specifications to make sure I hung it correctly.
