This book is great for the beginner rider. If you're getting unusually saddle sore there is a section on how to properly stretch and strengthen muscles. Not to mention a great article on making sure the sadlle fits both you and the horse. A great go-to if you're having problems as a beginner/intermediate rider and are unsure if the problem is mixed signals or a balky mount - especially if you don't want to feel foolish constantly asking questions.

Pros: for beginners, easy to read, good reference, excellent advice

Cons: needs to better stress things you should avoid doing

I always go for this series whatever the topic becuase it's easy to understand and get a good base of information from. Good book on horse riding!
