This is a book about the development of the first dog search and rescue teams. It is a very interesting read for any dog lover or for someone who wants to get involved in this kind of work.

A most excellent book on the early days of SAR

This books tells about the early years of using canines for Search and Rescue. It is a wonderful story that tells how SAR dogs are trained, show they do their jobs, whats traits trainers look for and in general how SAR dogs came to be recognized in a professional way.
