A great book about a great place

posted 5 years ago

Dogtown is the dog area of Best Friends Animal Sanctuary in Utah. A truly amazing place involved in helping in some of the most 'difficult' situations. They rescued animals from Katrina, war-torn Beirut and some of Michael Vicks fighting pit bulls. Even animals that seem 'hopeless' are give a second chance and many are placed in homes, although the animals can stay as long as they like. A wonderful, wonderful place. A quick read with some beautiful pictures of the residents as well as some really nice 'features' on a few of the dogs. Really heartwarming.

Pros: Touching rescue stories

Cons: N/A
