Most of this book was common sense for people who have spent time around dogs. But she had some great ideas like how to introduce a new dog and how to handle death of a pack mate. It would have been more helpful if I had read it before acquiring mulitiple dogs.

As stated above, this book is a great tool to help you understand common issues that occur when one brings a new dog into the home, and is a great reference for how to either prevent or remedy those issues. Easy read.
