Great place to take the pups!

This is a great place to have fun with the dogs. It's great in the spring when the grass is green and the air is crisp. The view from monkey face is wonderful. I would recommend this park to anyone who loves to enjoy the great outdoors with their dogs!
Pros: wide open space for pets to run free
Cons: in mid summer, you've got to watch out for foxtails

Chico is the Best

Upper Bidwell Park in Chico is one of our best kept secrets. There are acres and acres of land where it is legal to have your dog off leash! Plus a lake for swimming and chasing ducks...
Pros: Lots of off leash acres
Cons: Some climbing may be required
