Millie Bush Dog Park

This dog park is huge and one of the highest rated dog parks in the country. My dog and I make the 50-mile trek about once per week to enjoy the ponds and the company of other dogs.

I wouldn't want to swim in the ponds, but my dog loves them and the park features a dog wash for anyone wanting to rinse off their dog.

Several comments mention that it's too crowded, but I haven't found that to be the case. More dogs makes the park more interesting.

Pros: Plenty of room for dogs to play

Cons: It's a long drive to get there

I remember when they opened this park, it was great. Now I feel like it has too much traffic and gets really crowded on the weekends. I take my dogs to other parks that are less crowded and have less aggressive dogs. There are 3 dog parks about equi-distance from my home. Still Millie Bush park is the cornerstone for getting dog parks off the ground and MY DOGS LOVE THEM.

Pros: great for socialization and exercise

Cons: too crowded
