I used to take my lab to the Eau Claire dog park and he loved it! The park is very big and there were always dogs there for him to meet and play with. I got in a nice walk too. I think that the center is intentionally left "wild" so that there are some visual differences and to appeal to all dogs. They have planted new trees in the farther reaches of the park, but it will be awhile before they are big enough for shade so the only shade is by a couple of huge trees that are right as you come in the double gated entrance. Poop bags are always available and the last few times I went to the Eau Claire dog park there was also water available. I would definitely take my dog to this park if I were in Eau Claire, but I would really like to see a dog park in Rice Lake!

Pros: Lots of space to run

Cons: Not a lot of shade
