Dog Star Ranch

We left our dogs here while we went to Cancun last March. It cost about $600 for 4 days for the stay and grooming for both dogs. The dogs loved it though. They were able to run loose and get tons of attention which is all they wanted. The only thing I was dissapointed in a little was their dog temperment test. I guess they have to be very safe about it for the safety of everyone, but they deemed are dogs to be unable to be around other dogs because they were barking and jumping towards the other dogs. Knowing my dogs I know they were excited and wanted to go play, but they do have barks that sounds vicous, no matter what they are barking about. So unfortunately our dogs were unable to play with the other dogs while there, which is the main reason we had brought them there. The dogs still enjoyed their stay despite all that.

Pros: They have a lot of activities for the dogs and they get tons of attention while they're there.

Cons: Very expensive, Dog behavior test not accurate

Dog Star Ranch is a wonderful place to go play with your dogs! I have 3 dogs and had a membership for a couple of years. They have various different fenced areas, a pond for dogs that like water and a wonderful, friendly staff! My lab/great dane mix LOVES the pond!!!

Pros: Space to run

Cons: expensive membership
