Kruse Park Dog Beach

I love taking my dog to this beach. It is near my home and we have so much fun playing in the waves and meeting other doggies and dog owners. Bring your own toys though, sticks are hard to find for fetch with so many dogs running around! Most people clean up after themselves and baggies and trash bins are provided. There are signs that say to keep the dog on a leash but most people dont and we have never had any trouble from park staff for letting dogs play freely. Over all it's a great asset to the community and is well used. Grand Haven Beach has a tiny area for dogs that is too close to the road and is monitored for keeping pets on a leash.
