17th Street Park

There is lots of room to run and play, there is a large dog side, and a little dog side. But there is also a large space for timid dogs. This park really has it all water shade and lots of sun. Places to sit and agility to play on. It is just the place.

Pros: This is a Large park.

Cons: It is kind of dry this time of year

This is pretty much the biggest dog park I've been to. They have a small agility course with benches all over the place. It can get pretty busy during the times when people get out of work but because it's so huge, you won't be elbow to elbow. There is a small and big dog area. There was an incident I think last year when one of the dogs got sick and died from drinking water near the front entrance of the big dog area because some idiot spilled some anti-freeze from his car and was cleaning it up. But that's been cleaned up and I haven't heard of any incident since then.

Pros: Giant space

Cons: Some people don't pick up after their dogs
