So- so dog park
posted 4 years ago
This is an absolutely beautiful area in NJ and the park is wonderful. However, the dog park is so-so. It is small, paved and not conducive to "running" your dog.
As with any dog park, it all depends on the consideration of others using the park. I have come to believe that most dog owners are inconsiderate and never pick up after their dog.
I would never take my dog to a dog park.
But I would encourage people to go to this park without your dog and enjoy the rest of the park. It is beautiful.
Pros: none
Cons: none

Works for us!

This has been a great resource for my energetic lab. As with all dog parks, you are always taking a chance that there will be a dog that gets too aggressive, but there seems to be a consistent groups that comes- so you know what you are getting. There are some "bad owners" who do not watch their dogs carefully, but the "regulars" usually speak up to keep them in line. Bathrooms are just outside the fencing, small dog and large dog area. Bags provided.
Pros: large running area, little dog area,
Cons: mostly paved
