Overpeck County Park Dog Run

Good thing about this park is that you can see it from far away when you parked. You can walk around and see other dogs from far away. It helped us if when we wanted to have our dog get used to the view of other dogs.

Pros: close to NJ Turnpike, open area nearby

Cons: overcrowded

Overpeck put in the first dog park years ago, then due to the high volume of dogs and owners that used the park, they added a second park now. The park is not much more than a fenced in place with a few things in it, no grass left, but no matter the dogs seem to love it. The one side is used for smaller dogs now, but at times both sides are very busy. Nice to have a place for the dogs to go and play, now if everyones dog was well behaved it would be perfect !

Cons: Gets very busy
