Review Details

I only like to have pets that can run loose in my house so when I get a young ferret that doesn't know the rules I have used a spray bottle filled with water and a very small amount of ammonia to keep it from digging in my plants etc. Works very well.

I would recommend NOT putting the ammonia in the water. Just use plain water. We use spray bottles with only water and it work for us. We run the Dook-n-Dance Ferret Shelter.
Ammonia is kind of scary. I add vinegar to a spray bottle. Works well on dogs too! As for chewing, Bitter Apple seems to help a lot. Spray it on whatever they are chewing.
