Review Details

When I worked at the veterinarian's office - we had a grooming space int the basement. Lots of cats and dogs came in for grooming and even just a basic bath. Cage dryers are great because they hook onto the cage and blow air at the dog or cat to dry it - leaving you available to do other things. It does work.

The cons are that cats usually hate it and cower in a corner and the bottom of their bodies may not dry thouroughly. Same could be said for dogs - but they usually tolerate it more. Also - since the cages are metal you really have to watch that the cages do not get too hot - and especially that the cat (uaually) or dog do not overheat. It is very easy to put the dryer on and come back to find the cat panting. Kind of scary too.

This model comes with a timer - which can definitely help when it comes to overheating. It definitely does work - with close supervision.
