All my stuff in my kitchen is brushed stainless..faucets, light switches, my people canisters, so this was a perfect treat container to not stand out too much in the kitchen. It blends right in and is really cute too. It does a good job of sealing up to keep things fresh but like all stainless it does get finger prints on it and you have to wipe it down regularly.
