Our adopted precious Annie

One day a customer brought a dog to my shop to board while they went on vacation.. This little girl had shown up at their home, had been hit by a car and was very scared and timid..They had taken her to get her mangled leg healed which took expensive sergury, which they paid the fees. I worked with her and took special care of her until they returned. Pat & Sherrill Tucker work with Recycled Pets in Rock Hill, S.C. (A "no kill" shelter) I had gotten so attached to Annie by the time they returned and her to me. We deceided I would be the one to foster Annie until we found her a forever home. Time passed, her leg completely healed, but noone showed much interest in adopting this sweetheart. My special wish for Annie was for her to have a forever home for Christmas.. This didn't happen. Christmas Eve I found myself sitting on a barstool in my kitchen, crying over my coffee. My husband walked in and fell apart over my broken heart.. I told him I was so upset because Annie didn't get a home for Christmas. He to had taken quite a shine to Annie and told me to bring her on into our home and make this Christmas wish I had come true. Annie is our furrbaby #10.. and is so special to us.. She has no pedigree or "papers" like all our others, but we love her just like the rest of our family.. Her name is Annie Ann.. The Tuckers called her (Orphan) Annie.. I gave her by middle name, Ann.. This is our Annie Ann.. Please incourage others you know to visit the shelters when searching for just the right family addition.. No pedigree is needed when it is true love you are searching for..
