Two plus weeks ago I took my two children to the Zootoo visit at the Erie County SPCA and we adopted our dog O'Grady (we call him Grady).
It was a very exciting day and I was most impressed by the attendance of Erie County's District Attorney Frank Clark.
Mr Clark is a great DA but until that day I hadn't realized just what a dedicated protector he was to the animals of Western New York. This is a huge point to consider when you realize that these animals have been rescued and now we must do our part to follow through.
Additionally the animals that one can observe are just a fraction of the animals that are housed and cared for at this facility, wouldn't it be nice if there was enough space for all of the animals to have such top notch accodmodations?!
Please reward the efforts of Erie County and make our SPCA the standard for other communities to follow. Lead by example.
