A dog was brought into our shelter yesterday, and lo and behold it had a microchip! The microchip identified the owner as one of our clinic clients. We got in touch her with her this morning, and she was estatic! Shade had been missing for over 9 months! When she came to pick her up, the look on Shade's face was priceless. She bounded up to her mom with a huge grin and proceeded to cover her with kisses! Everyone that was watching teared up!
This is a wonderful story that once again proves the value of microchips in our dear companions!
