Well, we are about to wrap up our week in Monterey, CA. We have taken the dogs to the beach and for long walks around the wharf and Cannery Row. We have stayed at the RV park at the Monterey County Fairgrounds and it's been great! We have had the pleasure of meeting many wonderful friendly people here as we had arrived just before the motorcycle races at Laguna Seca, which not only filled Monterey with many motorcycle racers and enthusiasts, but also the Budweiser Clydesdales that have been here staying at the fairgrounds. Thank you so much Kendra, Eric, Matt, Wyatt, Abe and everyone that was so very friendly and more than willing to share info about the horses and their work. And I would be remiss if I didn't give a big shout out to Ringo!! Ringo is the beautiful Dalmatian that gets the privilege of riding on the Budweiser wagon that the Clydesdales pull. Ringo is Chex's new best friend and even went to cheer him on when they did a tour around Cannery Row on Friday. The Clydesdales went for a go-round at the races this afternoon and are set to make another appearance there tomorrow afternoon as well. Unfortunately, we will be departing tomorrow and have to bid farewell to our new friends and cooler, smokefree weather...boo hoo. Oh well, it will be good to get home.
