Loving those Legos!

Brandon with his Lego castle creation
My grandson, Brandon, has been playing with these Legos since he arrived Friday night! I have a huge plastic tote with a variety of Legos in it.

I remember Legos from when I was a kid. But, Legos today, are so much more fun! They have animals, people, vehicles and so many other wonderful things! Little accessories such as plastic chains, nets...You name it, it's in there!

Brandon says these are the best toys ever! Crystal and I cannot believe how he will sit endlessly, for hours, just using his imagination while building.

The attached picture is a castle. You can see the king at the top. He even included an mote area, all the kings horses and all the kings men. What a great job, he did!

Well, they didn't have Legos when I was a kid. But, I don't feel deprived. We had American Bricks - small red and white plastic bricks that came with windows and doors and roofing material to build all shapes and sizes of buildings. I love them so much that a few years ago I bought a canister of them to play with on rainy days. Sure wish I had them today.

I love Legos....the kids have to use their imagination. Brandon is one handsome guy. Hi Brandon - if your grandmother sends this to you. Glad you and Mom had a great weekend. Your grandmother is a very special lady here on Zootoo!

Brandon and Crystal said to thank you, DevilDawg! We just got done with dinner and he is now, watching Miley Cyrus' Hannah Montana. I imagine he will get those Legos out again before the night is over!

When her hubby comes home after traveling and finds Legos all over the floor, Cathy will blame poor innocent Kittles.

Oh, no! Hubby got home last night...The first Friday in 6 weeks! He has been enjoying watching Brandon play with the Legos! He agrees that they were nothing like this way back when! I just have to keep an eye on Brandon to make sure he picks up all the little pieces so Kittles doesn't get one stuck in his throat!

Yeah, yeah--Lite Brite....and Silly Putty.... HA HA. (But the "Easy Bake Oven" was WIMPY! I mean, what kid--such as myself--couldn't eat a whole BOX or CASE of cake???)

Hahahaha! DevilDawg, I would never say that when it's a you and Michele ratio! snicker, snicker. Etch-A-Sketch was so magical when I was a kid. One could never understand how it did all that stuff!
