Dog Friendly Resort in Vermont

The Equinox Resort & Spa is a gorgeous colonial Inn (established in 1769) located in Manchester Vermont. Not only are they dog friendly, they welcome them with cookies, a travel water dish, and a bed if needed. I recommend going during the week in winter when you can take advantage of the $99 per night special. Otherwise a room could run out $300 & up the rest of the year. Call and ask if they have dog friendly rooms available, and mention the 'Townhouse' option if they say there aren't any available. Some of the front desk folks forget to check the townhouses for availablity when checking for dog friendly rooms. The townhouses have a porch that opens to a big snowy area for them to do their 'business'. The resort has an indoor heated pool, outdoor hot tub, steam room, sauna, spa, two restaurants, two fireplaces to warm up by in the main building, and a bunch of outdoor winter activities to keep you busy. The area also features antique stores, outlets, cafe's and restaurants.
